Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, July 1, 2015, Margaret “Peg” Barcomb, 78, wife of the late Pete Barcomb.
Peg was a native of Cadyville, NY but lived most of her life in Augusta, GA. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Alleluia Community. Peg was employed by the United States Postal Service working in multiple offices for more than 30 years. She enjoyed making cakes for special occasions.
Family members include daughters: Annette Eyrich (Kurt), Rosemary Hutchings and Kathleen Cammilleri (Mike); sons: Peter (Karen), Paul (Ginette), Daniel (Susan) and Richard Barcomb (Beth); and over 50 grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Barcomb was preceded in death by her children: Deborah, Michelle and Patrick.
A Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Van Alstine officiating. Interment will follow in Alleluia Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alleluia Community School Scholarship Fund at 2819 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA 30906.
A Holy Vigil will be Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the church.
