Margaretha Damm

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, July 31, 2022, Mrs. Margaretha Damm, 85, loving wife of the late Erich Damm, Army 1SG retired.

Mrs. Damm was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She and her husband were both from German ancestry as well as long time Augusta residents.

Family members include her daughter: Diana P. Walker and husband William Walker of Augusta; son: Anthony J. Damm and the late Amy Minick Damm of Augusta; grandchildren: Taylor Peel, Rebecca Walker, Addison Damm, Andrew Walker, and Malary Damm.

A funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, at 2:00 pm at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Theodore Agba celebrant. The family will pray a Rosary at the church beginning at 1:30 pm on the same day.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Social Services, 811 12 St., Augusta, GA 30901.
