Mrs. Boyd was born in Jackson Co., GA and a resident of Martinez. She was a member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church and the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Family members in addition to her husband include her son, Gerald H. Boyd and wife Rhonda of Evans; daughter, Nancy Boyd Dickson of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren: Aaron C. Boyd of Evans, Brian D. Boyd and wife Pam of Beech Island, SC, Megan Boyd of Athens, GA and Hayley Boyd Clay and husband Hank of Nashville, TN. She was predeceased by her son, Harvey C. Boyd, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Mann Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Fulmer officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Winder, GA. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Methodist Men’s Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mann Memorial United Methodist Church, 2705 Milledgeville Road Augusta, GA 30904.
