Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, August 28, 2011, Mrs. Marguerite Stickney, 87, wife of the late Mr. Edward Lionel Stickney.

Mrs. Stickney was born in Key West, Florida and resided in Martinez. She was the Clerk of the Court for Monroe County. Mrs. Stickney was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Key West. She was very active in Beta Sigma Phi Social Sorority and the Key West Women’s Club.

Family members include: daughter, Tobey Stickney Manton (Jack), grandchildren, Kristin Plym (Jack), John P. Manton III (Rebecca), great grandchildren, John Manton IV, Charlie Plym, and Olivia Plym. She is predeceased by her parents, Olegario Velasquez and Isabell Roache Velasquez.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Quantico National Cemetery in Prince William, Virginia.
