Marian F. Pippin
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 1, 2012, Mrs. Frances Marian Florence Pippin, 83, beloved wife of 591/2 years to the late Mr. Harry M. Pippin, Jr.
Mrs. Pippin was a native of Wrens, Ga. She made Augusta her home for the last 65 years where she spent 20 years teaching with the Mothers Day Out program at First Baptist Church. As an active member of First Baptist Church, she was a Circle Leader with the Women’s Missionary Union. One of her joys in life was remembering family and friends on birthdays and anniversaries. Her spiritual gift to family and friends was giving her attention during their time of need.
Family members include daughter: Frances P. Stevens (Bill); sons: H. Martin Pippin III (Faye) and Byron Pippin (Kim); grandchildren: Kim S. Ray (Mike), Grant Pippin, Natalie P. Britt (Kris), Grayson Pippin (Destiny), Erin P. Madden (Walker), Gardner Pippin and Garrett Pippin; great-grandchildren: Michael and Camryn Ray, Carter and Benton Britt; sister: Martha Jean Lewis
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the Storey Chapel at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Greg DeLoach and Dr. Jacob Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
