Mrs. Marian Ann Kitchens
Augusta, GA – Went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 25, 2018, Mrs. Marian Kitchens, 69, loving wife of 52 years to Jerry D. Kitchens.
Marian lived most of her life in Augusta, Ga. She was a retired beautician and she was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Before getting sick, Marian was part of the Ladies Class 1 & 2 and taught training union. She was also a member of Woodman of the World Lodge 1571 for many years. She loved to fish and camp.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters: Melinda Wilson and Teresa Hayslip (OJ), all of Augusta, Ga; grandchildren: Brittany Wilson, Blake Hayslip, and Laci Hayslip; brother: David Icenhour (Dot); sister: Betty Jean Curtis; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by son: Jerry Wayne Kitchens; son in-law: Patrick Wilson; parents: David and Mildred Icenhour; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. George Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Pinky Icenhour; sister: Sharon Krentler; brother: Dwight Icenhour.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Wallace Hoyle officiating. Pallbearers will be grandson: Blake Hayslip; nephews: Allen Icenhour, Randy Kitchens, Lindy Kitchens, Troy Kitchens, and Ricky Kitchens. Burial will follow the service at Westover Memorial Park.
