Marianne Krakowiak

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on October 14th, 2011 at Alexian Brothers Village Health and Rehabilitation Center, Signal Mountain, TN. Mrs. Marianne Krakowiak , 80, wife of the late Dr. Francis J. (Frank) Krakowiak (COL Ret).

She was born in Detroit Michigan, retired from Richmond County Public Schools as a Speech Therapist. Mrs. Krakowiak was a member of St. Mary on-the-Hill Catholic Church.

Family members in addition to deceased husband include daughters, Patricia and husband, Chris Siener of Lafayette, In., Sara Jane and husband, Lt. Col. (Ret) Michael Lisowski of Signal Mountain, TN; sons, Col. Joseph and wife, Anne Krakowiak of Honolulu, HI, Andrew and wife, Edie Krakowiak of Lilburn, GA; 13 grandchildren, Matthew, Thomas, Sara and Patrick Siener, Dylan, Austin, and Anna Lisowski, Michael, Kelli, Robert and Samuel Krakowiak, Lacey and Van Krakowiak. Siblings include sister, Sara Jane Tirpaeck of Bristol, RI; Teresa Crane (deceased) of Brighton, MI.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary on-the-Hill Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
