Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 31, 2011, Mrs. Marie Baine, 60, wife of Mr. Jerry Lee Baine.
Mrs. Baine was born in Washington, DC and resided in Augusta. She was married to Jerry for 41 years. Mrs. Baine was an avid collector of precious moment’s figurines. She had a soft spot in her heart for all animals. Mrs. Baine was a very strong, kind and giving person. She loved her church and was very generous. One of her personal trademarks was sending flowers to her friends.
Family members in addition to her husband include: son, Brian Baine (Carrie) of Augusta; daughter, Jennifer Bonness (John) of Evans; four grandchildren: Hannah, Josie, Breanna and Abigail. She is predeceased by her sister, Susan Coats and her parents: Robert and Mary McCoy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Rev. Michael E. Roverse Celebrant. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church Building Fund, 4921 Columbia Rd., Grovetown, GA 30813 or to the Ronald McDonald House of Augusta, 938 Greene St., Augusta, GA 30901.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. at the church.
