Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, October 26, 2012, Mrs. Marie R. Sherman, 93, wife of 33 years to the late Mr. Clifford W. Sherman.
Mrs. Sherman was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, then moved to Augusta in 1989. She was a member of the New Orleans Country Club. Mrs. Sherman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church She never met a stranger and was always donating her time and money to others. Her family was her life.
Family members include daughters: Joanne Lloyd of Franklinton, LA and Cassie Parker (Jerry) of Appling, GA; sons: Pete Sherman (Cathy) of Panama City Beach, Fl and Bill Sherman (Debbie) of Kenner, LA; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
