Augusta, GA – Marion A. LeBlanc, wife of the late Leon Louis LeBlanc, was born on April 18, 1925 entered into rest on Sunday, April 21, 2024. She was also fondly called Nanny, Grandma and Yoo-Hoo by her many grand and great grandchildren.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a native of Masenna, NY. She was an Army wife, a stay-at-home mom, a volunteer at St. Joseph’s hospital and in her younger years worked as a fork lift operator. She and Leon spent many years in the creeks of Edisto Beach doing what they loved – fishing, shrimping, crabbing and spending time with friends and family. They also took several trips together including a 6 week trip by car to Alaska. She was a parishioner of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church for over 60 years.
Family members include children: Jimmy, Eddie and wife Maureen, Nancy Holley and husband Bobby, Bruce, Linda Wandless and husband Ken, Mary Krepps and husband Steve and Paul and wife Lynn: 15 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Stephanie LeBlanc, grandson Brian LeBlanc and daughter-in-law Donna LeBlanc.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11: 00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Father Mark Ross celebrant. Burial will follow the Mass at Westover Memorial Park.
A Rosary will be said on Thursday evening, May 2, 2024 at 5:30 PM and the family will receive friends following from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Marshall Pines in Evans GA for the love and support shown to their mom during her battle with dementia. They were truly our moms angels on earth!!! Also, the staff of Helping Hands Hospice for all their love and support. Thank you!
