Marjorie was a parishioner of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church since 1963.
She was well known as an animal rescuer and was an avid gardener.
Marjorie was pre-deceased by her infant daughter Celia Ann Brooks, husband John Brooks, and daughter Claire Brooks. She is survived by her daughter Shannon Kelly, her sister Marilyn Meeks, her brother L.D. (Donna) Evans III, grandchildren Emily (Mark) Hollier, Sarah Kelly, and Jeremy, Sean (Amber), and Amelia McLean, five great-grandchildren, and nine nieces and nephews.
A private service was held with interment at Westover Memorial Park.
