Martha Diane Bold

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Martha “Diane” Bold, 69, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday evening, August 6th, after fighting a long battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of 53 years to Mr. William C. “Bill” Bold.

Diane was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She spent her life being a dedicated and trusted caregiver. Diane was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She was the rock of her family.

Diane is survived by her son: Chris Bold (Melissa); daughter: Pam King (Stephen); grandchildren: Tyler Bold, Madison Bold, Aaron King and Ashlyn King; sisters: Mary Smith, Faye Addy and Lisa Taylor (James); brother: Allen Wright as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Mary L. Wright.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor James Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The Interment will be Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Westover Memorial Park.
