Martha Louise H. Parham

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, February 9, 2023, Mrs. Martha Louise H. Parham, 91, wife of the late Albert Parham.

Louise was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She worked many years at Sibley Mill as a Sample Clerk. Louise was a loving and devoted wife, mother grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Family members include her children: Lloyd E. Holt, Jr. (Judy); Twila-Dawn Holt Newman (Jerry), Crystal Holt Craig (Danny) and Julia Parham Copeland (Ken); grandchildren: Little Lloyd Holt, Mary H. Hale (Mark) and their children Matt (Morgan and their children Maislynn, Rylan, and Vessel), Callie, Ada, Carter, and Clara; Sherra Holden (Tom) and their children Steven and Hunter; Sheila Critchley (Greg), Michael Tucker (Jennifer) and their daughter Kailey; Martha C. Robertson (Heard) and their children Thomas, Daniel, Anne Catherine, Betty, and Stephen; Emily C. Drew (Jim) and their children Karly, John, Robert and Sarah Jane; Jennifer Copeland Morris and her children Logan and Kendall; Brandon Copeland (Mandy) and their children Ashton and Clayton. In addition to her husband, Louise was preceded in death by her parents: Ollie Thornton Howard, Sr. and Callie Mae Epps Howard; siblings: Ruth Howard Reddy, Ollie T. Howard, Jr., Thelma Howard Deloach, Marian Howard Amerson; granddaughter: Sarah Anne Craig and great-granddaughter; Lucia Susan Drew.

The funeral service will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Mark Maund officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Children’s Hospital of Georgia (CHOG), 1446 Harper Street, Augusta, GA 30912 or a charity of your choice.
