Martha Smith

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Martha D. Smith, 92.
Martha was a born and raised in Augusta, GA. She graduated from Tubman School for Girls. Martha had many jobs throughout her life. She worked at Hollingsworth Candy, Plant Vogle, retired from the VA, and was a homemaker for many years.
Family members include her children: Martha Webb (Marvin) and Charles Davis; grandchildren: Destiny Davis, Charles Davis III, Travis Rosier, Angela Walton (Josh), and Alex Webb (Jessie); great-grandchildren: Haley Davis, Mia Davis, Amelia Davis, Ruby Davis, Opel Davis, Justin Rosier, Matthew Webb, Travis Webb, and Reese Webb; and her great-great grandchildren: Riley, Griffin, and Evan.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Martha loved St. Jude and wanted donations made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
