Mrs. Mary Bragg Williamson

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, September 12, 2010, at University Hospital, Mrs. Mary Bragg Williamson, born Mary Hinda Butt, 74, wife of the late J. North Williamson.

Mrs. Williamson was born in Sumter, South Carolina, but resided in Augusta most of her life. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church and a life member of St. Joseph Auxiliary.

Family members in addition to her husband include her sons: Cordell L. (Chip) Bragg, MD and wife Kim S. of Thomasville, Georgia; Charles Thomas (Charlie) Bragg and wife Kim W. of Augusta; grandsons: Chris Bragg, Taylor Bragg and Thomas Bragg, all of Thomasville; nephew: Robert Lamar (Robbie) Butt of Columbia, South Carolina, and her beloved Persian cat, Casey.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 11:30 A.M. at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church with Fr. Jason Haddox officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends at the church following the burial. The family will also receive friends Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 at the home of Mrs. Williamson.
