Grovetown, GA – Mary Claire (Gallant) Morin passed away peacefully at her home in Grovetown, GA on March 16, 2016. She was 90 years old.
Born in 1925, Claire grew up in Ipswich, MA and played the organ at Saint Joseph’s parish, then attended Regis College in Weston, MA. After raising her four children, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially during his tour as District Governor for Rotary Club District #7930 of Massachusetts. Claire moved to Grovetown in 2001 where she has been an active member of the Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, participating in Bible Studies there.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, J. Roland. She is survived by four loving daughters: Claudia Morin of Grovetown, GA, Anne Marie Bittner (Bryan) of Brewster, NY, Faye Morin (David Biggs) of Chadds Ford, PA, and Rolanda Dane (Jonathan) of Ipswich, MA. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Ingram celebrant. Interment will follow at a later date at Highland Cemetery in Ipswich, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to “Blue Ribbon Riders” (Therapeutic Riding Program), P.O. Box 805, Grovetown, GA 30813.
