Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, January 05, 2012, Mrs. Mary Doris McManus, 84, wife of the late Mr. Bennie C. McManus.

Mrs. McManus was born and raised in Burke County. She was long time member of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. McManus’ focus in life was her family and church. After retirement, she relocated to Columbia County and became a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.

Family members include: daughter: Brenda McManus Earwood (Gordon); son: Bennie McManus, Jr. (Laura); grandchildren: Bennie McManus III, Leslie Earwood Lanier and Nikkie McManus Phillips; great grandchildren: Hunter and Austin; sisters: Margie Bryson and Patricia Saxon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Eddie Bradford officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church at 5555 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, GA 30809.
