Mary Frances Tant

Martinez, GA – Mary Frances Tant, beloved wife of the late Johnnie James Tant, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the age of 90.

She was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and nurturing great-grandmother, whose love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. More than anything, she was a true “Granny;” one who nurtured, spoiled, and loved her family with all her heart.

She is survived by her children, Charles Tant (Veronica) and Regina Robinson (Steve); her grandchildren, Tonya Murray, Ashley Beckworth (Ryan), Devin Davis (John), Derek Tant (Catherine), and Matthew Robinson (Brittain); and her great-grandchildren, Bryson Miser (Amelia), Abrianna Miser, Brooks Beckworth, Taylor Beckworth, Michael Davis, James (Oly) Davis, Alexandria (Andi) Davis, Liliana Cabos, Naomi Cabos, Nathaniel Cabos, and Dominic Tant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mattie Lou Weeks.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813. Rev. Brad Whitt and Rev. Jerry Pitman will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the cemetery.

Frances was a woman of faith, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
