Mary W. Freeman

AUGUSTA, GA - Mary W. Freeman, 93, wife of the late Kenneth R. Freeman, peacefully entered into rest August 23, 2024.  

Mary was a native of Augusta, a member of St. Mary On the Hill Catholic Church, and a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. 

She is survived by her son Kenneth R. Freeman Jr. (Wendy) of Augusta, GA; two grandchildren Kenneth R. Freeman III of Austin, TX and Brittany L. Freeman of Leicester, NC. 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Leland and Alice Walter; brother: Daniel B. Walter and daughter: Susan M. Freeman of Brevard, NC. 

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary On the Hill Catholic Church on Saturday September 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904. The family will receive friends 45 minutes prior to Mass in the church Narthex.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary On the Hill Catholic Church, 1420 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904 or Aquinas High School, 1902 Highland Ave, Augusta, GA 30904.
