Entered into rest on Sunday, February 23, 2025, Mrs. Mary Hallman, 91, loving wife of the late Victor R. Hallman. 

Born in 1933 in Saluda Co., SC to the late Milledge and Mattie Franklin, Mary was a charter member of Advent Lutheran Church and worked at Thomson Co. for many years. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, making jewelry but most importantly she loved traveling with her grandchildren to the mountains. 

Family members include her daughter: Gynn Carraway (Jim) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren: Alan Lazenby (Catherine) of Spartanburg, SC, Wayne Hallman (Stephanie) of Grovetown, GA, Scott Lazenby (Catherine) of Irmo, SC, and Westley Hallman of Martinez, GA; great grandchildren: Meaghan, Hannah, Joshua, Aidan, Matthew, Carter, Michael, Belle, Levi, Mason, and Andrew: great-great granddaughter: Amelia; siblings: Sue Bodie, Barbara Cowart, Sylvia Jordan, and Edward Johnson; and daughter-in-law: Jenny Hallman. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Victor “Steve” Hallman, sister, Shirley Jordan, and brother, Buddy Johnson. 

 A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 12 Noon at Spann Methodist Cemetery in Ward, SC. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
