Mary Glenda Henderson
Charlotte, NC – Entered into rest Saturday, October 7, 2017, Mary Glenda Henderson, 84.
Ms. Henderson was a native of Augusta, a graduate of the last all female class of Tubman High School and a graduate of the University of Georgia. She worked for over 45 years as a legal secretary, at Hull-Towill in Augusta, and Johnson & Blanchfield and Womble-Carlisle in Charlotte, NC., 40 of which for Jay Johnson. She retired at the age of 78.
Family members include her sister Mary Henderson Hull (Charles P. Heywood); four nephews; two nieces; one great nephew and four great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents R. Glenn Henderson, Sr. and Mary Fickling Henderson; twin brothers Robert G. Henderson, Jr. and William P. Henderson.
A graveside service will be Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30909.
The family will receive friends following the service.
