Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, May 31, 2011, Mrs. Mary Wolfe Huffman, 80, wife of the late Fred Huffman, Jr.
Mrs. Huffman was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a homemaker and member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Family members include daughters: Sandra M. Huffman of Martinez, Beverly C. Bibee and husband Michael of Evans, Melanie H. Oglesby and husband Russell of Martinez; son, Fred “Chip” Huffman and wife Chris of Evans; grandchildren: Jason Bibee, Kelly McBurney, Kristyl Boyd, Kaycee Miller, Chad Huffman, Chase Huffman, Courtney Huffman; and 5 great-grandchildren: McKenzie Boyd, Alexis McBurney, Kylie McBurney, Jackson Bibee, and Brooke Bibee.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jason Bibee, Chad Huffman, Chase Huffman, Lee Boyd, Joey McBurney, Vernon Mobley, and David Mobley.
