Mary Sue Krementz

Mary Sue Krementz (63), passed away unexpectedly in Augusta, Georgia on February 25, 2025.

Mary Sue was born to Richard and Joyce Krementz, on May 5, 1961, in New Albany, IN. Mary Sue lived in New Albany until 1965. She lived in Lexington, KY from 1965-1984, graduating high school with honors from New Covenant Academy in 1979. She lived in Aiken, SC from 1984-2020, and the final years of her life in Augusta, GA.

Mary Sue is survived by her mother Joyce Krementz; siblings Richard, Jr. (Valerie), Theresa (Eric), Edward and Daniel (Rebecca); 15 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Richard Martin Krementz and sister-in-law Erin Bliss Krementz.

Mary Sue was beloved by her family. She was really close to her parents, who cared for her throughout her life, and she greatly missed her father since his recent passing. She enjoyed sharing meals at the nearby home of her mother and brother Daniel, especially during holidays with extended family. She counted down the days in anticipation of her out of town siblings coming to visit. She had a mischievous sense of humor and would keep those around her on their toes. Mary Sue loved Jesus and reading the Scriptures and was a strong prayer warrior for her family and loved ones. 

Visitation for Mary Sue will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Augusta, GA on Saturday, March 8 at 10:00 AM, followed by her funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Mary Sue’s burial will be directly after the funeral mass at the Alleluia Community Cemetery in Dearing, GA.
