Mary Lee Nevitt

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 Mary Lee “Nonie” Nevitt, 78, wife of Thomas W. Nevitt, Jr.

Mary Lee was married to the love of her live for 52 yrs. They were married in Freeport, PA on May 17, 1969. They moved to Emporia, KS. Throughout the years they lived in several areas of the United States and officially made their home in Augusta, GA in March of 1983. Mary Lee was extremely proud of her family and enjoyed every moment she spent with them along with the many friends she made through the years.

Family members in addition to her husband include her sons: Jade Carey Nevitt (Kadra), Shane William Nevitt (Mele), Chance Wayne Nevitt; grandchildren: Danyka Lee Nevitt, Chole Quinn Nevitt; Jasmine Mari Long, Kody James Gilliland; great-grandchildren: Lizzy Grace Long, Brooklyn Jai Cooper, Rilah Marie Martinez, Rhett Thomas Long; Furbaby: Maddie Chantill Nevitt; brothers: Bob Brant (Denise), Don Brant (Maxine). She is preceded in death by three siblings: Lynette Brant, Sue Brant, and Wayne Brant.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. David Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Hud Gibson, Thomas Houston, Kevin Britt, Robert Solei
