Augusta, GA – Entered in rest Thursday, December 22, 2016, after a brief illness, Ms. Mary Lee McPherson Partridge, age 70, of Winfield Community, Appling, GA.
Mary Lee was born in Fayetteville, NC. She was the daughter of the late A.L. McPherson and Louise Coates McPherson family formerly of North Augusta, SC.
She was a graduate of North Augusta, High School and retired from working with OBGYN Associates after 40 years. Mary Lee loved working in her yard on the lake.
Mary Lee is survived by her beloved daughter, Kelli Partridge and grandson, Jackson. She is also survived by her sisters: Linda M. Red (M.L.) of Lexington, SC, Jo Anne C. Owens of Blackville, SC and Judith C. Hartzog of Lincolnton, NC; brothers: Richard McPherson of Thomson, GA, Greg McPherson of Barnwell, SC and LC Coates (Mary) of Avon, FL; and her loyal and dear friend, Marsha G. Martin of Chapin, SC. She was preceded in death by her sisters Carolyn Coates of Lincolnton, NC and Barbara Renew of Barnwell, SC and brother, Terry McPherson of Murrells Inlet, SC.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016, 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Columbia County Humane Society, P.O,. Box 204771, Martinez, GA 30917.
