Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, May 2, 2016, Mrs. Mary Mullins West, 65, wife of Mr. Alfred L. West.

Mrs. West was a native of Crestview, FL but made Augusta her home for the last 40 years. She retired from the downtown Veterans Administration Hospital where she worked as a nursing assistant. Mrs. West enjoyed yard sales and loved the beach. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Family members in addition to her husband include daughters: Jeni Pate, Cyndi Hoyt and husband Denny; son: Jackson Everage and wife Youmee; step-children: Michelle Sinclair, Keith West, the late Brian West and wife Tassie; sisters: Sarah Mullins and Jean Vachon; brothers: Howard Stone, Robert Mullins and Everett Mullins; many cousins including Donna Lanoue; 17 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

A funeral service will be Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
