Martinez, GA – Ms. Mary Ruth Henry, 80, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 28, 2011.
Ms. Henry was a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and was a school teacher with Kalamazoo City Schools for 30 years. Ms. Henry volunteered at Borgess Hospital and then moved to Augusta in 1989.
Family members include her daughters, Deborah Vliek (Theodore) of Portage, MI, Pamela Snowdy (Harry) of Martinez, GA, son: John Henry (Ilene) of Manitowoc, WI, grandchildren: Tara, T.J., Shannon, Juliana, John, Jasmine, Jared, great grandchildren: Dalton, Avalon, Collette, and brother: Willis Andrews of Muskegon, MI.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Sherwood officiating.
