Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, February 21, 2013, Mrs. Mary A. Vaggi, 96, husband of the late Mr. Ralph Vaggi, Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mary Alice Dunn Vaggi spent many years in New York before moving to TX and finally, Georgia. A familiar face to anyone who was in Doctors Hospital during the 18 years she volunteered (accumulating the most volunteer hours ever given by anyone there), Mary also volunteered at Catholic Social Services for many years. Mary was honored by the Augusta Sertoma Club for outstanding service to the community.

Family members include son: Ralph Vaggi, Jr. (Judy) of Martinez; daughter: Donna Ciampa (Ben) of Plandome, NY; grandchildren: Chrissy Ringo (Tim) of San Diego,CA, Terri McNeely (Chad) of Martinez, GA, Christopher Ciampa of E. Norwich, NY, Benjamin Ciampa of Phoenix. Arizona, Elizabeth McCulloch (Ken) of Plandome, NY; and great grandchildren Lauren McNeely, Brandon Ringo and Lexi Ringo.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Roverse celebrant. Burial will be handled by Fairchild and Sons in Manhasset, NY.
