Evans, GA – Melba Chambers Gulizia passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018.

Melba was born in Brevard, NC and was a travel and real estate agent. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling, and hosting gatherings for her family and friends. She was a former resident of The Villages in Florida. Melba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Survivors include her daughters: Laura Chambers Brown (Paul), Julie Chambers Deloach and Angela Chambers Banks (Tom); grandchildren: Justin Annis, Daniel Brown, Callie Deloach, Megan Hill, Kyle Deloach, Chelsea Percival, Lindsey Banks, Ian McDaniel, and Thomas Banks; great grandchildren: Chandler Annis, Justin Annis, II, Jackson Brown, and Pearson Percival; and sister: Marsha Thompson (John). She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jere Chambers, MD and Sam Gulizia, and infant son, Keith Chambers.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A.M., in the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family request charitable donations be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr., Suite 301, Cayce, SC 29033.
