Martinez, GA – Melissa Dawn Ennis, 49 of Martinez, GA entered into rest at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Melissa was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a member of Journey Community Church. Melissa brought laughter and joy to everyone she knew. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ which she displayed everyday of her battle with glioblastoma.
Melissa is survived by her mother: Brenda Ennis, father and step-mother: Charlie Ennis (Kay); sons: Dakota Grant, Jordan Grant and Logan Grant; siblings: Larry Ennis (Michelle), Jody Ennis (Karina) and Christina Weathersbee (Joey).
A celebration of life service will be Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Journey Community Church with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Melissa Ennis Fund at Georgia Bank and Trust.
