Meredith Kellie Tice

Surrounded by her family, Meredith Kellie Tice, 29, stepped into the presence of her Lord on Monday, September 6, 2021. Meredith was preceded in death by her brother Douglas Emil Tice, Jr. and her grandparents Gerald W Tice, Sr., Miriam L Tice, and Benjamin C. Timmerman, Sr. She is survived by her parents, Douglas Emil Tice, Sr. and Kellie Timmerman Tice, her brother, Benjamin Harris Tice, her grandmother, Eusteen Timmerman Belding and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Meredith left behind the light of her life, her dog Johnnie.

Meredith was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated from Lakeside High School and attended Augusta University and Augusta Technical College. She was employed by Augusta Flooring and taught ballet classes for several years at Columbia County Ballet. She spent 14 years learning and performing ballet under the guidance Ron and Kathleen Jones who taught her grace and poise. Meredith had a sweet spirit and was easily loved by all who knew her. She was known to her family and friends by many names such as Silly Heart, Merf, Merfinator, Bow Girl, Sweet-Ums, Mere, MereBear, and Sis.

The funeral service will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son, 214 Davis Road, Augusta, GA with Reverend Mark Scholten officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Adam Green, Chris Agerton, Danny Agerton, Aaron Hinds, Thomas Murphy, and Trey Thorne.
