Martinez, GA – Mr. Michael Peyton Farr, 54, entered into rest on Friday, May 17, 2013.
Mr. Farr was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was a graduate of Aquinas High School and attended Augusta College. He served a tour in the US Navy. He was formally employed with Pollock Office Machine as a lead technician, a job he enjoyed immensely.
Family members include daughter: Kristin Farr; granddaughter: Kayden Jackson; brother: Patrick Farr (Debbie); and sisters: Betty Cobb (Sinton), Kathy Gibson (John), and Theresa McKeon (Jim). He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Katherine; brother: Bobby; sister: Carol; and sister-in-law: Vicki.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Ingram celebrant. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Leonard, Grady Leonard, Peter Franklin, Lawson Douglas and Bill Prince.
Memorial contributions may be made to Aquinas High School,1920 Highland Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
