Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, March 31, 2016, Michael Anthony Farr, 43, husband of Sherry Ash Farr.
Born in Lebanon, VA and move to Georgia as a baby, he worked at Smith Brothers as a HVAC mechanic. Michael loved his wife, sons, and spending time with his family. He also loved his dog (Roscoe Jr), fishing, working in his yard, watching scary movies, and catching sharks at the beach. Michael was very creative and talented working with his hands making action figures and movie models. He was a gentle, kind hearted, hardest working man, never met a stranger. Michael would help anybody and give you the shirt off his back and always with a smile. Even in death he is helping people that he never met by donating his organs to help many people to live. Michael will be deeply missed.
Family members in addition to his wife include: sons: Michael A. Farr and Justin T. Farr; mother: Charlotte Farr; brother: Jamie and his wife Jamie Girl; sisters: Paula Bennett, Brenda Ufret and Carol Arrington and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Sarah Farr.
A memorial service will be Sunday, April 3, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Augusta’s Cornerstone Assembly, 4301 Windsor Spring Road, Hephzibah, Ga. with Pastor Fred Burman, Sr. officiating.
The family will receive friends at 1:30 until time of service at the church.
