Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, August 30, 2024, Mr. Michael D’Angelo Harris-Redd, 49, loving husband (battle buddy) of Bettina Harris-Redd.
On June 14th, 1975, Michael was born to the late Marcus “Mike” Redd and Viola “Marie” (Harris) Redd in Detroit, MI. Michael proudly served in the United States Army for 10 years. He served two tours in Iraq (Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom). He and his wife served together during his first tour. His rank upon leaving the USA Army was SGT. He served as a 94F (Computer Automation System Repair Specialist). He worked as an Electronics Repair Instructor at Fort Eisenhower for many years after discharge from the military. Michael was a loving and devoted husband, father, comrade, and friend.
Family members, in addition to his wife, include his children: Alexander Seguin, Mykia Harris-Redd, and Nevaeh Harris-Redd; siblings: Marlon Redd and Maurice Redd as well as siblings: Tanya Haugabook, Jeffery “Jay Jay” Haugabook, Alfred “Jermaine” Haugabook, and Simika Peterson. Numerous brothers and sisters in arms to include but not limited to: Caesar Chiles, Torrance Williams, Jonathan Lundy, LaShawn Brown, Natasha Delince, and Richard Pavlat. His family includes many uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his grandma (Viola “Kitty” Adams).
