Hephzibah, GA – Moved to Heaven, surrounded by his family on Monday, November 13, 2017, Michael Anderson McElmurray, 16, loving son of Earl and Deborah McElmurray.
Michael was a native and lifelong resident of Hephzibah and was a junior at Westside High School. He loved to hunt, fish, ride his motorcycle and spend time at Clark Hill and the river.
In addition to his parents, family members include his brother: Earl Daniel McElmurray, Jr. (Amanda); sisters: Julianna Jennie McElmurray and Hunter Elizabeth McElmurray; maternal grandparents: the late Hunter Hawkins and Annie Hawkins; paternal grandparents: Bob and Martha McElmurray; uncles: R.A. “Andy” McElmurray, III (Melisa), Richard P. McElmurray (Christie), Mark Hawkins (Christie), and Robert Hawkins (Patty); aunts: Diane Robertson and Phyllis Hawkins (Tommy); and many other loving family members.
The funeral service will be Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at New Life Church with Pastor Bryan Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Logan McElmurray, Cody McElmurray, Logan Howell, Adam Wilson, Reginald Wright, Jordan Heath and J.T. Taylor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Fund at New Life Church, 250 Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta, GA 30907.
