Michelle G. Gilbreath

Entered into rest on Monday, July 8, 2024, Mrs. Michelle Gereta Gilbreath, 75, loving wife of 42 years to Mr. James Gilbreath.

Michelle was born in Ironton, Ohio but spent many years in the Augusta, Georgia area. She retired from the Grovetown, Georgia Post Office as a letter carrier. Michelle was an avid animal lover and enjoyed watching wild birds. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Michelle cherished spending time with her family.

Family members in addition to her husband James, include her daughters: Debbie Landrum (Roy), Tammy Montgomery, Dena Lyda (Jeremy); grandchildren: Mark Lopez, Jr. (Anna), Michi O’Byrne (Scott), Blake Gay, Brett Gay (Samantha), Brooke McCorkle (Josh) and Harrison Lyda and great grandchildren: Rhyleigh Gay and 11 others. She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Mary Silliman and brother Randy Silliman.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 9:00 A.M. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with Dr. Don Prosser officiating.
