Augusta, GA – Mildred B. Faulkner “Millie”, 88, loving wife of 69 years to the late William L. Faulkner “Billy”, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother and Mema.
Born in Augusta, GA and a longtime resident of Columbia County, she was the daughter of the late Bonnie Lee and Ellie Burke. She retired as the office manager from the King Mill after 41 years of service and she served as a Junior Achievement Advisor for several years in the mid 1980’s. She was a long time member of Central Christian Church and a past member of Senior Friends. She enjoyed traveling with Billy, reading and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her sons Rick Faulkner (JoAnn), Doug Faulkner (Cindy) and her daughter Bonnie Judy (Gary), a sister-in-law Betty Brown, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four nieces and three nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Burke and Jerusha Cloud.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Nick Faulkner, Nathan Faulkner, Nolan Faulkner, Jason Faulkner, John Faulkner and Evan Kell.
Memorials contributions may be made to the Central Christian Church Youth Fund, 220 Crawford Ave, Augusta, GA 30904.
