Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 14, 2018, Mildred Jean Dickson, 88.

Jean was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was an accomplished instrumentalist on the piano and accordion, and played piano for many years at Tyrone Church of the Brethren. She loved Jesus, Sunday school, and daily Bible study. A native of Tyrone, PA, Jean had resided in Evans, GA for the past four years to be closer to family.

Family members include her children: Cindy Plotkin (Michael), Tom Dickson (Daphne); five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives, many of whom reside in the Tyrone area.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Thomas K. Dickson, her sister, Charlotte Irene Albright, her mother, Edith Mae Caldwell, and her father, Paul D. Weston.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Tyrone Church of the Brethren with Rev. Ben Henshaw officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Tyrone Church of the Brethren, 500 W. 18th St., Tyrone, PA 16686.
