Augusta, Ga - Mildred Louise Malone died February 13, 2018, at Kentwood Nursing Facility. Born September 1, 1925, in Wesco, Missouri, she was the youngest child of Oliver Lee Malone and Annie Coppedge Malone.
As well as her parents, Louise was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Harold Lee Malone, Sr. (Bessie); a sister, Deleeta Malone Goldsmith(Roscoe); an infant brother, Charles Floyd Malone; and nephew, Dr. Jacob Oliver Malone (Delores).
She is survived by nieces Anita (Dick) Bolin of Pensacola, FL; Lynne (Dr. Rod) Hester of Buckhead, GA; Leigh (Glen) White of Hattiesburg, MS; nephew, Dr. Harold Lee Malone, Jr., (Mary Beth) of Johnson City, TN. She had seven great nieces and nephews and eight great- great nieces and nephews.
Louise graduated from Escambia County High School, Atmore, AL, in 1943, then returned to her native Missouri, serving as office manager of Diehl Montgomery Motor Company in Rolla, Missouri.
Then Louise moved to Augusta to be near family, she became an active member of First Baptist Church.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Delores Malone for the love and care she has given Louise the last few years.
Visitation for Louise Malone will be Saturday, February 17 at 11 a.m. in the Storey Chapel of First Baptist Church of Augusta with a memorial service to follow at 12 noon officiated by Reverend Will Dyer and Mrs. Patti Fowler.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton way Ext., Augusta, GA 30909.
