Mildred K. Timmerman
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, May 28, 2017, Mrs. Mildred Kelley Timmerman, 92, loving wife of the late Ransom Pierce Timmerman.
Mrs. Timmerman was a native of Warren County, GA and lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church since 1943, a member of the Anna Bannister Sunday School Class, and the Senior Adult Choir. Mrs. Timmerman was retired from the Richmond County Board of Education, where she was the Executive Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools. The family would like to thank Kathy Attaway and her staff at Greenwood Place and Hephzibah James for all the love and care they showed Mrs. Timmerman.
Family members in addition to her late husband include, children: David Timmerman (Cathy), Kelley Timmerman, Suzanne Sombar (Mike); grandchildren: Kristan Osbon (Michael), Lauren Sigmon (Stephen), Lacey Sombar, Shannon Sombar, Ginny Johnson (David), Dorsey Timmerman; and three great grandchildren and her sister: Martha Lawson Young She was predeceased by her parents: James Wesley Kelley and Pauline Fulgum Kelley.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 11:00 A.M., at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Patti Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service
