Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, February 16, 2017, Mr. Milo Lester McGahee, 92, loving husband of the late Margaret McGahee.
Mr. McGahee was a native of Thomson, GA. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He began working for the Augusta Chronicle as a paperboy and retired 50 years later as the manager of national retail advertising. He was a lifetime member of the Civitan Club.
Family members include, son: Milo Lester “Mike” McGahee, Jr.; grandchildren: Pamela Jewel Bigenho, Milo Lester McGahee III; great-grandchildren: Margaret VanWinkle, Bobbie VanWinkle, Mary VanWinkle, and the late Bailey VanWinkle.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son, with Pastor Ken Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
