Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, April 2, 2009 at University Hospital, Mr. Howard W. Bedgood, 80, husband of Mrs. Margareta D. Bedgood.
Mr. Bedgood was a native of Davisboro, GA and had resided in the Augusta area since 1955. He was a Veteran of the US Army National Guard who retired after 33 years as a MSGT. Mr. Bedgood also retired as a transmission technician. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and the Men’s Class at Pineview. He will be remembered for being a good man who loved everyone.
Family members in addition to his wife include his daughter: Eva Bedgood of Augusta; grandson: Richard Greenawalt and his wife Annette of Arizona and great-granddaughter: Patricia Greenawalt.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Don Wilson, Sr. officiating.
Memorials may be made to Pineview Baptist Church Building Fund, 117 Pleasant Home Rd., Augusta, GA 30907.
