Mrs. Alfreda Rhoades

Evans, GA – Alfreda Rhoades, 90, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2009 in Augusta, GA.

Mrs. Rhoades was born in Marietta, Ohio. She graduated from Capital City School of Nursing in Washington, D.C. , and resided in Jacksonville, FL from 1958-1996, working as Director of Nursing at Hope Haven Children’s Hospital.

She is survived by her son: Dr. Robert Rhoades and wife, Elizabeth of Augusta and daughter, Pamela R. Langford and husband, Mike of East Palatka, FL; grandchildren: Beth Rhoades and Lara Rhoades, both of Augusta, Michael Rhoades of Atlanta, Jennifer Langford of Gainesville, FL, Joseph Langford of Jacksonville, FL and great-grandson: James Nault of Augusta. Mrs. Rhoades was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Rhoades; parents: Alfred and Julia Bourmorck; brother: Jules Bourmorck and sister: Julia Staats.

A Memorial service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL, 12:00 PM, Saturday April 25, 2009
