Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at University Hospital, Mrs. Beverly Thrash Dunn, 81, wife of the late John Arthur Dunn.
Mrs. Dunn was a native of Atlanta, GA but had resided in Augusta for over 60 years. She retired from the C & S Bank after 46 years and was a member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Mrs. Dunn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was actively involved in their lives. She had a host of lifelong family and friends who treasured her loyal friendship and devotion.
Family members include son: David Arthur Dunn and wife Tina of Augusta; granddaughters: Beverly Lorick Dunn of Augusta; Wilva Dunn Baldwin and husband Matt of Augusta; grandson: David Arthur Dunn, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Augusta; great-grandchildren: Winston Baldwin and Olivia Dunn; and sister: Jean Thrash Veal and husband Cameron of Royston, GA.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection with Pastor David Hunter officiating. Interment will be private in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after the service on Saturday in Rieser Hall at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 825 Greene St., Augusta, GA 30901.
