Mrs. Parsons was a dedicated Army wife and mother. She had a passion for being a baseball mom. Mrs. Parsons was also a member of The Church of Christ.

Family members in addition to her husband include a son: Derek Parsons; 3 brothers and 3 sisters residing in PA.

Funeral services in Augusta will be Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with the Rev. Tony Christie officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
