Augusta, GA – Mrs. Lorine Neville, 89, entered into rest Monday, April 20, 2009 at Doctors Hospital.
Mrs. Neville was a born in Lindale, TX, but lived most of her life in Augusta. She was retired from Gracewood State School and Hospital with 30 years in food service. She was a member of Central Christian Church. She was loving, caring and unselfish, always putting her family first. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved her family and friends very much. Visiting and talking with them always put a smile on her face and made her the happiest. She will be deeply missed, but will live on in the hearts and memories of her family and friends for many years.
Family members include her sons: Melvin David of Atlanta, Irish Neville (Sandra) of Augusta and Victor Neville of Texas; daughter: Marie Martins of North Augusta; grandchildren: Crystal Devivo, Cindy Martins, Ryan and Barbara Neville; great-grandchildren: Joseph and Savannah Thomas, Michael and Blake Devivo.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Claude Hydrick officiating.
The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907
