AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Thursday, March 26, 2009, Mrs. Martha B. Story, 89, wife of the late William Glenn Story, Sr.,
Mrs. Story was a native of Glascock County, GA and had resided in Augusta for the past 59 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Bayvale Baptist Church.
Family members include her sons and daughter-in-law: William G. Story, Jr. of Augusta, Ray and Rhetta Story of Martinez; daughter and son-in-law: June S. and Earl Collins of Augusta; sister: Nell Williford of Augusta and grandchildren: Tyler Story and Jonah Story, both of Martinez.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Charlie DeLoach officiating. Pallbearers will be Keith Williford, Don Williford, Bennie Ramos, Austin Williford, Kim Kitchens and Paul Tice. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
