MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at University Hospital, Mrs. Rose Aster Wallace, 101, wife of the late Paul Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace was a native of Coalfield, TN and had lived in Augusta for the past 32 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Family members include her sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph E. and Mary Wallace, James D. and Pam Wallace of Rockledge, FL; daughters and son-in-law: Mary Ruth Meyer of Memphis, TN, Jackie W. and Buster Sheahan of Martinez; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home of the Sheahan's after the service on Saturday.
Memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church General Fund, 4798 Hardy McManus Rd., Evans, GA 30809.
