Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, August 17, 2011, Mrs. Myong S. Pyo Quinn, 60, wife of 34 years to David H. Quinn.
Mrs. Quinn, a native of Incheon, South Korea, was married in Seoul, S. Korea on June 1, 1978 and moved to the United States in November of 1979. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America in 1984. Mrs. Quinn won numerous awards for Employee Customer Service as a Sales Associate for Macy’s at Augusta Mall. She loved to read, sew, music, and the arts. Mrs. Quinn loved the city of Paris, France and its culture. She was proud of her citizenship in the USA and her daughter’s accomplishments.
Family members in addition to her husband include her daughter, Donna Quinn of Queens, NY; her sister, Oak Soon Sjoberg (Rob); and her loving cat Jack.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Donald C. Prosser officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Humane Society, PO Box 12035, Augusta, GA 30914.
