Myra Frantz

Augusta, GA - Myra Jean Cogburn Frantz, 75, entered into rest on August 12, 2015 at her home in Augusta, Georgia. Born in Edgefield County, South Carolina, Mrs. Frantz was the daughter of the late John Hefner Cogburn and the late Edna Crawford Cogburn. She was a graduate of Dreher High School in Columbia, South Carolina and The University of South Carolina. She loved the Lord and was an active member of the Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Frantz was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sharing her “love dishes” with others in need.

Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Marshall Frantz, and two daughters, Laura Leigh Frantz of Augusta, Georgia and Jennifer Frantz Boyd and her husband, Bryan Boyd, of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Ashleigh Morgan Boyd and Robert Bryan Boyd of Atlanta; and a brother and sister in-law, Alfred Garwood Frantz and Wanda Frantz, of Fort Worth, Texas.
Mrs. Frantz was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Ann Boynton of Columbia, South Carolina.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Evans, Georgia with Senior Pastor Charlie Stakely officiating. Visitation will follow at the church.
